I regularly use Eyal Shifroni's last 2 excellent books, "A Chair for Yoga" and the first volume of "Props for Yoga" to help design classes. This 2nd volume offers some tried and true variations on asanas, as well as many I had never seen before. As in the other books, Shifroni includes explanations about how and why we would use props therapeutically or to increase awareness. It is especially helpful if you practice or teach Iyengar Yoga and already have some experience of props. But I think it would be of benefit to any yoga practitioner with an interest in furthering his knowledge.Product details

Very useful book!
Great Book for serious yoga practitioners and teachers. A great source of knowledge and inspiration
Great book for anyone that is inspired to develop a home practice from one of the best Iyengar Teachers Worldwide!
This book is the 2nd volume and it met my expectations. It's clear and wise, interesting and teaching, and the pictures are wonderful!
I highly recommend all of the volumes for anyone seriously practicing yoga. This book illustrates in an easy to follow format new and old ways to access the pose, overcome obstacles and deepen the pose. The photos and instructions are clear.
I love Eyal Shifroni's yoga books, which show and describe a great variety of modifications of asanas using props including chairs, straps, blocks, belts, blankets and weights. They inspire both my Iyengar yoga practice as well as my teaching. Got down on the floor last night for a 2 hour practice just trying out poses from the first half of this book and ideas are already flowing for my next practice and classes I will teach.
Excellent instruction on the use of props for sitting poses. I have Volume 1 and this is a perfect sequel. I am a yoga teacher and the books given me new way to access poses I have been doing and teaching for years. Photos are clear and the accompanying text is very "user-friendly".
